Uzbekistan to create most favorable conditions for representatives of American private sector
First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Oliy Majlis Sodiq Safoyev met with US Ambassador Jonathan Henick.
According to the information service of the parliamentary upper house, during the conversation the results of the visit of our country’s delegation to Washington in July, during which “Uzbekistan Day” was organized together with the “Caucus on Uzbekistan” in Congress, were discussed.
Jonathan Henick confirmed the US commitment to deepening the Uzbek-American partnership and highly appreciated the progress of reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan. In addition, new prospects for the development of trade-economic relations between Uzbekistan and the state of Mississippi were noted.
Noting the positive results of trade, economic and investment ties, the parties agreed to continue inter-parliamentary cooperation to create the most favorable conditions for representatives of the US private sector in Uzbekistan.
