Uzbekistan and Kuwait strengthen ties with new MoU and joint investment initiatives
During his visit to Kuwait, Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, engaged in high-level discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kuwait. In a series of meetings, Saidov met with both Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, and the Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority, Ghanem Suleiman Al Ghenaiman.
In talks with his Kuwaiti counterpart, Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, the two ministers discussed a broad range of issues on the bilateral agenda, emphasizing the significant potential of Uzbekistan-Kuwait relations. Saidov highlighted the importance of promoting economic relations, enhancing regional connectivity, encouraging regular exchanges, establishing a solid legal framework, strengthening people-to-people diplomacy, and enhancing human resources. To further cement these ties, the two foreign ministries signed a Memorandum of Understanding, focusing on cooperation between diplomatic institutions.
In a separate meeting with Ghanem Suleiman Al-Ghenaiman, the focus was on exploring promising areas for joint ventures. Saidov noted that the discussions included the launch of mutually beneficial projects, leveraging global expertise, and incorporating the latest innovations and knowledge into these initiatives.
The Uzbek delegation's visit to Kuwait also includes a series of bilateral negotiations, meetings with leading entrepreneurs, and participation in a joint business forum, aimed at further strengthening the economic and diplomatic ties between the two nations.
