Uzbekistan and the UK discuss prospects for cooperation on healthcare digitalization
Uzbekistan's Ambassador to the UK Ravshan Usmanov met with Chris Bates, the Director of Research and Analytics at the British medical company "TPP."
Founded in 1997 to enhance the efficiency and standards of the UK healthcare system, "TPP" has developed a range of software products in the healthcare sector, focusing on the digitalization of this field, including the connection between hospitals, doctors, and patients. "TPP" software is used by more than 25 major medical institutions in the UK, 14,000 medical organizations, and over 300,000 doctors and nurses worldwide.
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for collaboration on the digitalization of healthcare across Uzbekistan and further improvements to public health in the country.
The British side noted that "TPP" software is tailored to each doctor or patient and covers areas such as problem-solving in health issues, increasing treatment efficiency, providing evidence-based medical consultations, and education.
Following the talks, an agreement was reached to develop bilateral meetings and visits in the future to further accelerate cooperation in these areas.
