Tashkent airport opens its renovated departure hall

At the moment, a spacious hall of more than 2,500 square meters has been built in the departure terminal, from which passengers can go up to the check-in area using elevators, travelators or escalators. Between the hall and the main terminal building there is a small green area with benches. Later, another open terrace of 2,200 square meters with a view of the city will appear on the second floor of the departure area. 

In the lobby itself, passengers and those accompanying them undergo a primary inspection and can use some services - baggage wrapping, SIM card purchase, ATM services, charging stations and vending machines. Also in the lobby there is the possibility of inspecting small animals (especially cats) - the passenger will be offered to go to a separate room, where the owner will be able to take the animal out of the container without stress for the animal and allow the airport employee to conduct the inspection. 

The increase in area was achieved by moving the facade forward, towards the parking area. In this regard, the access system has also changed: the airport no longer has a fence, and transport now drives up to the first floor of the building. It is important to note that traffic cameras integrated with the traffic control systems of Uzbekistan have been installed on the access strip to the terminal. 

The system will operate automatically: drivers who exceed the permitted stopping time on the access line will automatically receive a fine notification. Short-term entry to the terminal is permitted for all passenger cars with a time limit of up to 10 minutes, as well as tourist buses and minibuses with a limit of up to 10 minutes.
