Honorary title “Honored Entrepreneur of Uzbekistan” established

The title is awarded to the heads and founders of business entities that have introduced new, highly profitable areas of business, widely introduced innovations in the industry, created modern production facilities, increased export potential, actively attracted foreign and local investments, created new jobs, made a worthy contribution to the development of the country’s economy and improving the welfare of the population.

The title will also be awarded for cooperation with government agencies, active participation in social projects, as well as for outstanding experience and initiative in doing business.

It should be noted that the bill on the introduction of a new honorary title was approved at the regular plenary session of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis on August 27.

The law comes into force on the day of its official publication.
