Olaf Scholz to visit Uzbekistan
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will visit Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan from September 15 to 17. He will participate in the "Central Asia-Germany" summit in the neighboring republic.
Olaf Scholz is scheduled to visit Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan from September 15 to 17, according to Steffen Hebestreit, the official representative of the German government.
This will be Scholz's first visit to Central Asia, and he will be accompanied by a "large business delegation" aimed at deepening cooperation with countries in the region.
The German Chancellor will hold bilateral talks with the presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, and on September 17, he will participate in the second "Central Asia-Germany" (5+1) summit, which will take place in Kazakhstan.
