Uzbekistan and Russia establish mutual drug labeling recognition and data exchange system
Uzbekistan and Russia have agreed to implement a system for mutual recognition of drug labeling and establish a mechanism for exchanging data on the circulation of medicines in both countries.
According to the State Tax Committee, during a visit by a Russian delegation led by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to Uzbekistan, an agreement was signed on information cooperation to facilitate the transfer of data on labeling codes for medicinal products.
Additionally, on September 10, the Chairman of the State Tax Committee, Sherzod Kudbiev, met with the head of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, Daniil Yegorov, and presented Uzbekistan’s automated information systems for the tax committee. He also shared insights on the implementation of modern tools for data collection and visualization (dashboards), which enable the creation of clear analytical reports for various activities.
