No Uzbek citizens affected by typhoon in Thailand
Typhoon Yagi's arrival in Thailand and Myanmar has caused the worst flooding in the northern states of both countries in 80 years.
According to the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Bangkok, the flood water level reached 1 meter with a very fast current.
Heavy rain and subsequent flooding triggered two landslides in northern Thailand, killing six people and damaging nearly 9,000 homes.
Thai authorities have advised residents in flood-affected areas, particularly near the Sai River on the Thai-Myanmar border, to prepare for possible evacuation.
There were no victims of floods and landslides among Uzbek citizens and their family members living and working in areas of Thailand affected by natural disasters.
