Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosts Qatar’s Finance Minister in Samarkand

According to the presidential press service, Ali Al Kuwari conveyed greetings and best wishes from the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to the Uzbek leader at the start of the meeting.

The discussions focused on further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the two nations, particularly in the trade and economic sectors. Special emphasis was placed on advancing projects in green energy, transportation, healthcare, tourism, infrastructure development, and other key areas.

It was noted that a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and a joint business forum will be held in Doha before the end of the year.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of strengthening cultural and humanitarian exchanges between the two countries.
