Skilled Uzbek professionals to secure employment in Germany following training courses

A key outcome of the talks was an agreement to provide Uzbek specialists with advanced training programs in Germany, leading to potential employment opportunities within German companies. The partnership aims to enhance skills across sectors, including modernization processes, innovation, and trade, helping to address labor market demands in both countries.

In addition to workforce development, the parties discussed granting preferential financing for the modernization of Uzbekistan's vocational education and healthcare systems, supporting vulnerable populations, environmental protection, and improving water supply infrastructure. They also reached agreements on sovereign and non-sovereign financing for projects in export, corporate development, and trade.

Further commitments were made to implement various joint projects that had been agreed upon during high-level meetings between the leaders of Uzbekistan and Germany. These projects include the development of the chemical industry, geology, medical equipment, solar panel components, construction materials, and carbon fiber production. The establishment of modern logistics centers was also a priority.

Both parties expressed readiness to take comprehensive measures to accelerate the implementation of the discussed projects. Each German company will be assigned a dedicated investment manager, and a new working algorithm has been established to facilitate regular virtual negotiations between Uzbekistan’s embassy in Germany, the Chancellor’s office and the Eastern Committee of German Business to monitor progress and address any challenges swiftly.
