On February 23, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting on measures to ensure youth employment.
It is noted that it is necessary to ensure the employment of 925,000 young men and women this year according to the “youth balance”. Also, 300,000 young people graduate from colleges, technical schools and higher educational institutions. At the meeting, the issues of their employment, modern professions and involvement in entrepreneurship were discussed.
First of all, it was said that additional opportunities will be created for young people to engage in business. At least 40% of the loans allocated under the family business program will be directed to this purpose. The “Young entrepreneur” competition will be held, and the winning business project and idea owners will be sent to foreign countries for training.
Officials provided information on ensuring employment of 100,000 young men and women in new industrial projects, 150,000 in the service sector, and 200,000 young men and women through legalization of jobs and self-employment.

For this purpose, it was emphasized that it is necessary to identify talented young men and women and help them learn IT professions and foreign languages, and relevant instructions were given to the governors.
1 million boys and girls will be taught foreign languages free of charge through the “Ibrat farzandlari” project of the Youth Affairs Agency. Free classrooms in schools will be rented for foreign language tutors and study centers.
