ILO releases report on unemployment rates in Central Asia
The International Labor Organization (ILO) has published unemployment data for Central Asia, revealing significant variations among the region’s countries.
The lowest unemployment rate in Central Asia was recorded in Kyrgyzstan at 3.3%, while Tajikistan reported the highest rate at 11.6%.
The findings, published on the ILO's official website, are part of a global unemployment ranking that includes 187 countries.
Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan showed similarly low unemployment rates, with figures of 4.3%, 4.5%, and 4.8%, respectively. However, Tajikistan's 11.6% unemployment rate stands out as significantly higher than its regional counterparts.
