FM Bakhtiyor Saidov meets with officials of interim Afghan government
In the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan talks held in Kabul, special attention was paid to the activation of economic relations.
The delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting and negotiations with several officials of the interim government of Afghanistan during their visit to the city of Kabul.
“During our visit to Kabul, we held meetings with a number of officials of the interim government of Afghanistan – His Excellency Acting PM Mullah Muhammad Hasan Akhund, His Excellency Acting Deputy PM Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, His Excellency Acting Deputy PM Mullah Abdul Ghani Barodar, His Excellency Acting FM Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, His Excellency Acting Minister of Internal Affairs Khalifa Sirajiddin Haqqani, His Excellency Acting Minister of Trade and Industry Nuriddin Azizi,” the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote on his Telegram channel.
During the negotiations, a wide range of issues of mutual cooperation were discussed. Special attention was paid to the creation of the most favorable conditions for strengthening economic relations and improving relations between business circles.
“We are united by our rich and common history, traditions and future. There are many possibilities that we can realize together,” Bakhtiyor Saidov said.
On March 10, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, visited Doha and met with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
