Uzbekistan Airways flight experiences engine malfunction while landing in Moscow

Today, January 15, an Uzbekistan Airways flight HY9607 operating on the Bukhara–Moscow route experienced an engine failure while landing at Vnukovo Airport. According to the company, the landing was successfully executed. There were 132 passengers on board.

As a result of the incident, several flights operated by Uzbekistan Airways have been subject to mandatory delays.

The updated schedule for flights HY9628/9627/9608 on the Moscow (Vnukovo)–Fergana–Moscow (Vnukovo)–Bukhara routes is as follows:

•  HY9628: Departure from Moscow (Vnukovo) at 17:25, arrival in Fergana at 23:40.
•  HY9627: Departure from Fergana at 00:50 (January 16), arrival in Moscow (Vnukovo) at 03:35 (January 16).
•  HY9608: Departure from Moscow (Vnukovo) at 04:50 (January 16), arrival in Bukhara at 10:45 (January 16).

According to the Aviaincident Telegram channel, on January 15, at 7:16 Moscow time (9:16 Tashkent time), a malfunction was identified in the second engine of an Airbus A320 aircraft flying at an altitude of 4,000 feet on the Bukhara–Moscow route.
