Photo: Islam Karimov's first mobile phone 

The first mobile phone, used by the first President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, was demonstrated.

The telegram channel of Surkhandarya regional administration posted the photo of the first mobile phone used by Islam Karimov, which is currently stored in the Museum of Communication History.

It was noted that this device was used for the first time in the history of communication of Uzbekistan by Islam Karimov on August 26, 1992.

For information, the model of the phone is Nokia 1987 - Mobira Cityman (or Nokia Cityman).
