Uzbekistan’s grape cultivation down

According to the Statistics Agency, in 2023, about 1.7 million tons of grapes were cultivated in Uzbekistan.

The agency noted that grape cultivation decreased by 1.3% compared to 2022.

The volume of grapes produced by regions:

- Republic of Karakalpakstan – 11.6 thousand tons
- Andijan region – 82.2 thousand tons
- Bukhara region – 221.4 thousand tons
- Jizzakh region – 29.8 thousand tons
- Kashkadarya region – 110.0 thousand tons
- Navoiy region – 85.6 thousand tons
- Namangan region – 151.7 thousand tons
- Samarkand region – 639.2 thousand tons
- Surkhandarya region – 74.5 thousand tons
- Sirdaryo region – 14.8 thousand tons
- Tashkent region – 87.8 thousand tons
- Fergana region – 179.1 thousand tons
- Khorezm region – 49.9 thousand tons
