Saudi Arabia may establish an International School in Uzbekistan
A Saudi company is exploring the possibility of creating private schools in Uzbekistan based on international standards and improving the qualifications of teachers.
Ambassador of Uzbekistan Nodirjon Turgunov met with the head of Al Faris International, Osama bin Saleh.
At the meeting, issues of introducing new innovative educational programs in the field of education in Uzbekistan, opening branches of private international schools and improving the qualifications of teachers were discussed.
Osama bin Saleh noted that the number of high-level and high-level visits between the two countries has increased sharply, trade volume has increased, and Saudi investment has reached unprecedented levels. He stated that Al Faris International is focused on the development of the education sector, its main goal is to improve the quality of teaching and increase the level of knowledge of students.
International schools of the IBO standard, created with the financial support of this company, operate in many countries around the world.
The parties discussed the possibility of opening similar schools in Uzbekistan.
The Saudi side stated that there are all possibilities in this regard. “We are ready to create international schools on the basis of one hundred percent of our own capital or with Uzbek partners. These schools provide education to international standards, with strict foreign and local language requirements. In addition, preschool institutions will be created,” he said.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to organize a visit of the leadership of the Saudi company to Uzbekistan for a detailed study of these issues.
