Flynas and Qeshm Air halt flights to Uzbekistan following Iranian airspace shutdown
Two airlines have temporarily halted flights to Uzbekistan due to the closure of part of Iranian airspace, citing escalating tensions in the Middle East. The affected airlines, Flynas and Qeshm Air, announced the suspension of several routes, including those from Jeddah and Tehran to Tashkent and Namangan.
According to a statement from the Uzbekistan Airports press service on October 2, the following flights have been canceled:
- Flynas: Flights KNE633/634 from Jeddah to Tashkent and back, and KNE651/652 from Jeddah to Namangan and back.
- Qeshm Air: Flights QSM2143/2142 from Tehran to Tashkent and back.
Travelers are advised to check with airline representatives for further details regarding their flights and any potential rescheduling options.
