Several filling stations in Tashkent face suspension over low-quality gasoline
Substandard gasoline has been detected at gas stations in Tashkent’s Yunusabad and Shaykhontokhur districts, according to a recent investigation by the energy regulatory agency, UzEnergoInspeksiya.
Samples taken from the Ai-92 and Ai-95 gasoline types sold at these stations were found to fall below the standards required by national regulations.
The analysis, which involved laboratory testing of fuel samples from a station in Yunusabad, confirmed that the fuel quality did not meet the State Standard requirements for Ai-92 and Ai-95 gasoline. Further inspections revealed similar issues at a gas station in the Shaykhontokhur district.
In response to these findings, the gas stations in violation have been temporarily suspended from participating in exchange trading until the identified issues are rectified, as reported by UzEnergoInspeksiya.
